Transforming the office from a commodity, to an experience.

Portland Commons will provide a high performance workplace with comfort, health and the productivity of its community at the core. This innovative building seamlessly integrates modern aesthetics that businesses demand, with the existing neighbourhood heritage buildings that the city adores. An abundance of private terraces and common outdoor landscaped spaces augment flexible workspaces in a way that is both functional and desirable. The latest innovations in infrastructure and technology stand harmoniously alongside the heritage buildings and established look of the neighbourhood.

Flexible Floorplates

Large, unique and efficient floorplates ranging from ~20,000 square feet to ~59,000 square provide flexibility in both the design and utilization of each space. Each tenant can personalize their office space to meet their workforce needs with horizontal and vertical customization opportunities. Portland Commons offers unlimited opportunities to bring visions to reality.

Floor-to-Ceiling Glass

Expansive floor-to-ceiling clear glass ranging from 10’9” to 12’0”, equipped with operable windows, provides an abundance of natural light – and a healthy, productive work environment for your employees.

Raised Floor HVAC System

A pressurized raised floor HVAC system with individual controls provides superior ventilation and indoor air quality and provides a healthy, productive work environment for your employees.  Each employee can control their own thermal comfort via individual in-floor air diffusers.  No more hot/cold temperature complaints!

Operable Windows

Operable windows located throughout the building introduce more fresh air into the workplace and provide employees with further control over their own thermal comfort.

Glass Bridges

A boutique four-storey office component along Front Street offers a dedicated entrance, elevator and terrace, and expansive floor-to-ceiling glass bridges overlooking the courtyard that connect to the main building.  These stunning glass bridges strengthen Portland Commons’ connection between modern aesthetics and heritage architecture.

Bicycles & Parking

Portland Commons features 360 underground bicycle parking stalls accessible via a safe and separate bicycle ramp, and spa-like gender neutral shower and changeroom facilities, promoting active lifestyles and wellness. The building also features 230 underground parking stalls to accommodate commuters and visitors alike.
